Prostate Cancer Survivors
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed in men in the United States. Treatments for prostate cancer are very, very effective. Surgery to remove prostate cancer, called Radical Prostatectomy, can be a cancer patient’s best treatment. Radiation treatment, rather than surgery, can be the best option. However, both of these treatments can, and sometimes do, cause erectile dysfunction and urinary incontinence (leakage of urine). Men can survive prostate cancer, but the treatment can permanently alter the quality of life. Over half of Dr. Christine’s patients are prostate cancer survivors.
Women who are treated for breast cancer deserve to have their bodies restored… absolutely, men who are treated for prostate cancer deserve the same. As a Center of Excellence for the treatment of those quality of life issues that can so dramatically change the life and happiness of prostate cancer survivors, Dr. Christine and his team are proud of their success in restoring these men to a full, meaning full life.
If you, or a family member, have been treated for prostate cancer and have urinary leakage or sexual dysfunction, do not accept your situation. Dr. Christine has the experience and the skill to treat you!
